I am looking at a megaflow that runs out of hot water quicker than it was .
I have megad both immersion heaters / stats and they read 19 ohms which is correct.
They both have a 230v supply . so i am confused as by all accounts they are ok.
Age of cylinder approx 7 years , thanks for any thoughts . Mark:confused:

Could be lime scale arround elements if in hard water area

oops hit post before I finished typing,
swap the stats over - sounds like top immersion & stat is working fine and giving about 1/3 of the hot water you usually get.
Bottom stat could be iffy?

Thanks for replies , we are in a hard water area but it has an electronic descaler on the feed , thats not to say it could be furred up.
Will try stat swop and if push comes to shove will take them out to look at them . cheers mark

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
