Fixing resin shower trays

How do u fix a resin tray?
I morter bed it myself or silicon it down. Keep toying with the idea of flexible tile adhesive.

I've always used a mortar bed onto plywood. I like the flexible tile adhesive idea though. Should provide a better fixing and be easier to level off. I think I'll be giving it a try next time I've got one to fit.

Last one I did I made a 2x3 sandwich with 12mm ply top and bottom then siliconed the tray to that.
My preference is to use tile adhesive, but didn't have any with me and tiler was coming to do his part the next morning.

Thought most of them state mortar, anything else invalidates warranty. Might be the ones i've used.

Always go by MIs or warranties can be invalidated but I use sticks like **** or cement if the floors uneven ,

Used all the methods in previous post, I use foam fix now would not do any other way sounds DIY but in my opinion it is the best method

What tickles me is the mi on the one I did the other week said morter bed to support the the entire tray implying if u don't do a full bed it could snap) but then................ They will sell u a raiser kit for £40 so it's only supported one the corners!!!!!! So clearly it don't matter how it's fixed????????

I've never used foam but I have tried to remove a disabled tray that was sunk level with the floor boards and I've gotta say what a hold it had , but I don't think I'd ever use expanding foam to bed a tray down.
