Hi,

I have a worcester 28si II. It seems to have started to not realise when it the system is on. When the heating or hot water is running for a little while 5 / 10 minutes say, it starts to re-ignite even though it's already running. Has anyone come across this problem and know what's up with it? The manual and Worcester's technical help don't seem to have an idea on this matter.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

James

I am guessing it's to do with the ignition/detection electrodes, if the boiler is running & the going out & immediately trying to light

Hi Aggis,

It's trying to light whilst it's running, which seems to me like it might be the same problem you mention.

detection leads or electrode if they check out on a continuity test then pcb has failed
