where is best to buy gas fires from and fires bits like closure plates and restrictor fittings?

Your gas engineer will know this, let him worry about it. Just sit back let him get everything an enjoy your new gas fire

best to look around show rooms, find one you like and do a tinternet search for best price.

as for fittings let your engineer worry about that.

your customer wants you to choose the fire?

best to let them get the fire following your adivse about what will fit the fireplace and flue system or they tell you which one they want and then google search it. If you have an account at a merchants get a quote.

Plumb center's trade brochure has a selection! As said though I'd let the custard choose......! I fitted a Cannon Misermatic a couple of weeks ago! Comes with electronic ignition which is better than the piezo ignition if the custards got a touch of arthritis IMHO :)
