I want to see who knows the right answer as I struggled with this on my acs exam and will hopefully teach people something new and see how many people actually know...

No. IV and purge volume are different - Go back to what I said about cyclic volume!

you are all correct, in my bpec book it says 0.010, in my corgi book it says 0.008, took me 3 times to get that right

Are you sure it quotes those 2 figures for IV of the meter? If so can you quote exactly where so I can have a look,
0.01 is the PURGE volume with pipeworks up to 28mm
0.008 is the IV of the meter
I can't be bothered looking for the exact pages but these figures are in module 6 of Bpec, in 2 different tables, and I wish I had ÂŁ1 every time a candidate got them the wrong way round

five times the cyclic volume if i remember correctly
4 plus 1, 4 for the volume 1 for the pipework so your right,if its over 0.35 set fire to it on a small burner or just set fire to it if your tired of living
