Typing mistake this is a Vented System. On a visit to my mates house over the holidays, he asked about a intermittent problem with there power shower, he thinks the connection was made by the council plumbers some years ago. my questions is two fold, firstly i was always of the belief that no solder fittings should be used within the first 1m from exiting the top of the cylinder, it has a solder elbow instead of a formed bend and then half way along the level run to the vent and feed pipe there is a solder t inserted which is part of my other query this is where the takeoff for the shower has been inserted which after 4 inches then is run in 15mm poly using a poly plumb straight connector, the cylinder is fed by 22mm and the pump is drawing in 15mm. but if the shower is used twice when it starts for a short while there seems to be very limited hot water, its my thoughts that its causing a bit of an air lock in the cylinder.
any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Billy
