Discuss TMV for older people in home in the USA area at PlumbersForums.net

Morning,

I want to get TMVs fitted in the basin, and bathtub as the shower is already a thermostatic shower.
My question is does each water faucet need to have a TMV and regardless of what the DHW setting is on the gas boiler I take it with the TMV the water won't be very hot or scald those with sensitive skin such as older people?

Can TMV's be adjusted or are they set on a specific fixed temperature. I would be grateful for any information as I don't know much about about TMV but the last care home I visited had them fitted so that is why I am thinking about getting one or more fitted at home.

I have seen the following but any recommendation would be even better.

I was looking at TMV's such as the one in previous link (15mm in size) and would like to know if they can fit on basins and bathtubs which have mixer taps and two copper pipes which connect to the taps.

I was looking at pictures of TMV's and they seems to show a copper pipe across with a TMV fitted so I don't know if I would be able get them fitted.

Any advice would be great thanks
