I’m hanging a double radiator onto a dot & dab wall. I’m going to drill through the plasterboard & knock the brown plugs through to the masonry behind for a solid fixing, would this be ok?
Morning. Looking at installing a DAB Esybox however space at a premium. Thinking of installing a break tank in the loft (above first floor) rather than going for the combined pump and tank unit. This is replacing a vented system so pipe work goes up there already. Is there any reason I shouldn’t...

Hi All
I want to increase the water pressure in my home as showers really are pretty underpowered. I have been recommended the DAB E.Sytank that I will install in my attic alongside my Hot water unvented cylinder. This should great but the tanks is 87cm * 60cm (or similar) and my attic hatch is...
All,
I'm trying to solve a water pressure issue and I'm not sure the best way to approach the situation.
I have 2 bathrooms:
A family bathroom being fed by the mains for cold & an unvented immersion cylinder for hot water
An ensuite with an electric shower that is fed by the mains.
The...
Morning all,
I've just bought a 4 bedroom/ 2 bathroom property and wanted some advice on which way to go with the water system.
I've redone the drains and in the process replace the incoming mains to 25mm from the external meter. At the moment this supplies 20l/m at around 1.2bar, static...
Existing bathroom has skimmed plasterboard dot and dabbed to block wall. The chosen tiles are over the safe load limit so thought about screwing 6mm hardibacker to the walls first then tiling onto this, anyone done this, see any problems with this or got an alternative etc ?
I thank yarr in...
Evening all, have any of you had this issue? I recently installed a DAB Esytank (480 ltr accumulator) and Esybox pump and the Esytank has overflowed a few times now. I'll probably change the DAB ballvalve for a brass Pt2 one.
Appreciate any advice.
Cheers

Morning all,
Very quick background; I have 10 year old house, been in it 18 months. When central heating comes on on many of the downstairs rads where the pipe runs down the wall there is always a clicking / ticking noise. I was advised that it is probably where the pipes run through the...
Hi all
A lot of new build houses now seem to be done in Speedfit with the plastic pipes running down the walls to a wall plate behind the radiator, then out into the rad valves.
I went to a job a couple of weeks ago where the guy had gone to hang his clock in the dining room and put a screw...
