Anybody had any dealings with this type of heating. Small 2 up 2 down to do in it. Is it efficient, is it difficult to install, is it expensive compared to radiators. Not come across it before!

Haven't got the drawings yet. I recommended ufh but its a refurb so no room to increase height of floor. Think rooms are only small but have not done any calculation yet. Will it work ok off a combi I have no idea how it is installed do you make a mini fold for it?

no it just feeds up through the casingusually from below floor some have the clips below the heater element to run flow and returns in
actually ive been having a look around and found thishttp://www.thermaskirt.com/default.aspx
this is very diferent from the old smiths stuff but still quite low in output 500btus per meter with 72 degrees water temp

When i was at college we went through these type of heaters and looking at some drawings they look real easy to install and connect up!
Keep us posted barron :)

Traveling to Kent from Liverpool in a few weeks to go through specification with site agent and client. Leaves me plenty of time to do some digging. Thanks again everyone for you input, Much appreciated!!

Compared to fitting skirting boards and radiators, the cost is quite competitive.
If 150w/m is not enough, you need to look at insulation otherwise you're just burning money.
Thanks.
