Hi have got Triton t80 shower has been fine for 2 years then suddenly stopped working ie: no water , replaced solenoid coil just the same plenty of pressure coming from the water supply into shower so I bought another shower from Toolstation was just the same no water anybody got any ideas please .

Not even a dribble from the shower outlet/hose? even after confirming water pressure at the shower inlet?. Have you confirmed 239V in the shower terminal block with the solenoid energised?
What about the pull cord switch??.

A basic question but you said you have plenty of pressure going into the shower. How do you know? Test?

What’s feeding the shower? Mains? Tank? Have you looked for a check valve on the supply line that could be jammed?

Hi thanks for replying feeding the shower is mains I removed the shower connector loads of water coming out but not filling the shower tank

So, you are saying that there is or should be enough pressure to flow out of the shower (at least)? If you put your finger over the supply pipe can you feel "pressure".

It seems to me that the solenoid valve isnt opening and ditto problem with the last shower.
Did you check for 239V with the solenoid energised.
Maybe worth just running a supply to the shower via a extension lead or whatever, switch the shower to cold, switch off the the power supply to the shower at the consumer unit, MCB/RCBO or whatever, then connect in the temporary power supply to the shower terminals and see if you get (cold) water from the shower?.

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hi, I seemed to have a blockage in kitchen sink. A plumber came and cleared all the pipework that is visible inside my home (there was debris and pebbles!) We saw that the pipe that takes water down the gutter was visibly full to the top. He said he will return with a coil to push through...
