Prices for clearing a kitchen sink

Hi I have a little problem or a question if all you experienced people can put me straight please? I am just a bit surprised - I had a call out for a plumbing job - in London - the flat is rented out.
The kitchen sink was blocked. I called out one company, they did not fix it, and that was £95. I got a local plumber he said he could not do it and would call his drain 'engineer' This local plumber has not charged much about £60 and I would rather be paying him more - rather than the others. His 'drain engineer' came fixed it in half an hour and has charged £180 incl VAT , it seems a bit steep, but maybe it is fair what do you think? Thanks

London is expensive and I’ve read some prices for things on other forums, and I would say it’s ok for the clearing of it. Others will likely be a callout charge.

You paid £155 for no one to fix the issue you then paid £180 to have it fixed sounds cheap compared to the road you were going down

You were lucky they bothered to show up. At current prices, more likely to find them enjoying champagne and caviar than bothering to show up for less than £800 per dau
