Hello chaps

Does the PRV lose pressure only because of activity in the heating system or is it affected by the use of hot water taps too? Does the PRV react to hot water use in a combi or just the heating system Please advise

The PRV is on the primary circuit and not directly linked to hot water taps, but calling for hot water brings into play the primary circuit.

Unless you're talking about a prv on an unvented cylinder.

Whatever the problem is you cannot touch it.

You need a gsr with an unvented ticket.

No point reporting my posts. No good will come of it.

You don't need to know the technical details of what's wrong with your system, you just need to know that you have a problem. To tell you any more would infringe on our policy of providing you with the appropriate advice based on your competency.

Rather than calling back one of the clowns you have had in before who have been unable to deal with such a relatively simple issue, please post a request for help on our looking for a plumber sub forum remembering to include a rough location.

Whomever responds will have the full support and help from this forum on your behalf.
