Its real, and how many plumbers are gramaticly corect or dont have typos

OOOOOOOhhh a few here

I know that spelling is not a required skill for plumbers, but surely it is a good idea for web site designers.

Anyway I find that my spilling is always grate.

I agree but not sure what the evidence is for 90%, and what does this do for public confidence in the trade

This is correct, We are an Agent for the engineer, We dont Employ as we are not a company that will be paying you direct.

This means the jobs you get are paid by the customers.

I can almost gaurantee that when i go to look at a Bathroom I will find something wrong. Just personal experience.

The expression, What you pay is what you get, Most people cant afford and good Bathroom but is in an exceptable way, Doing a Bathroom correctly just means you will never get problems. Being highly regarding by a Bathroom Showroom is your Best bet.

signed up and just back from call out. got me £90 for calling severn trent:) and waiting for them to take over.

seems good to me or am i missing something:eek:

Free for good I assume

The owner makes £50 a call out (finders fee) ol

tbh. its about time someone stopped trying to screw us over by charging up front for leads that dont exsist.
i had always said 'give me the earner and i will give you a drink'. this guys got his head on, he charges the customer his bit, you charge yours.

as long as he dont start changing the ball game.

Done 3 jobs for this guy so far all at £95.00 per hour. 1 a blocked toilet and other 2 were nails through pipe.

I've also been out for them, was a pretty decent experience.

Just covered a call for them, local hotel, very low incoming water pressure, phoned water board and found they have large leak in the area.
I wasnt registered with them, but i assume they got my number from gas safe register. i will probably look at the terms and register.
Oh well back to bed.

anyone else who has done bits for them any problems

I have had a job from them. £60 for the first hour, then £30 per half hour after that. Not bad.

sounds good this dose just need to get on with them on both plumbing and electrical sides

but seems to take forever to get there

they do electrical call out work as well some it says on website like but it says it takes a month to get on with them why i dont no

Hi D E P,
i have issued an invoive as i dont normally expect my customers to pay on completion as mainly sub contract commercial work. However i expect to get paid, the customer was very pleased i had arrived quickly and got out the chequebook. I will let you know when i get paid, or i will let you know if i dont.
Paul.

well thats good GREYHOUND how long did he take to approve you

i do alot off call out work for another outfit and just looking to get another one like these who want lads to pop out to a faulty float valve or leaking tap

untill i can get someone to help me get my gas which in this day and age a long time lol

Hi D E P,
all i got was a phone call yesterday morning at 3am asking if i could go out, he breifly explained that the customer would pay. I went out and dropped invoice through letter box. I dont expect an issue with payment from the hotel.
Have a good look on line at all the terms, they seem reasonable, but not so good if many miles involved. Mine was only 6 miles each way. The closest i have worked to home for a while.

that sounds good i cover quite a big area and again 24 hour call out fro them was busy yesterday but nout today

what was the job if you dont mind me asking

i only want to do plumbing not play with boilers even though i want to

which bit o the country you in?.
