I went into Plumb Center late afternoon yesterday desperate for 3 rads after PTS let me down ( I ordered them a week previous and when I went in they hadn't even ordered them, I have a wasted day today now with no work). I tried to order some more at P C but they couldn't find my details and had closed my account.........they said when were you last in and I said about 4 years ago! ha ha ha

I remember I stopped going in after a bitter experience over their poor stock levels and high prices.

Really annoyed at PTS though.....it wasn't as if I didn't ring a week earlier to give them plenty of time, guy I ordered them with was on holiday.

Always a good idea to have a few non-urgent little jobs to do, or some boiler services you can fit in which you can knock off when you get held up on a larger one so you arent wasting time.

Many of the merchants will close trade accounts that are inactive for 12 months to save on unneccessary admin and paperwork.

only coz they see their bonus increasing as you walk in
No other merchants even try to get our business. There's only Graham and Plumb Center locally, they're both like the Marie Celeste when you walk in and the staff there don't seem arsed.

PC bill is normally £100 a month yet they don't seem interested.

I get WB boilers from plumb centre & UHWC and vented hwc
rads from Mr central heating !

WB from plumb centre is better than from williams ?
pretty sure he ships them for free
