We had a new water meter fitted, within 12 hours the condensing combination boiler stopped with an error code of E9 and then we had a water leak due to a joint blown open on a pipe leading to the shower. CH system and boiler now working fine and mains cold water inlet is fine. The question is can a spike in the water pressure when the new meter was fitted cause the boiler to stop with error code E9 and blow a cold water pipe joint?
