Hi all.

Looking at replacing an ageing Potterton Profile standard boiler with something like a WB.

Thing is, there are a couple of different types listed and i dont which one i want/need!!

They list a Greenstar 12Ri and a 12i.

The system in my house is standard vented with 2 zone vales.

Which one would be suitable for my system?

Also, are there any other makes worth looking at?

I only seem to be wiring WB at the moment and they do seem to be the "plumbers choice".

Ta very much :D

I just do servicing & repair most of the time, would be happy with any of those, WB, Vaillant & Remeha.
Change my own boiler 4 months ago, fit Remeha Avanti plus 39c combi. Certainly agree with 'Plumbandplumber' about Remeha, 5 year parts & 2 labour.
They are all reliable boilers, my top 3 manufactures. They just need regular servicing.

Right then, this might throw a spanner in the works but what about Ideal?

Are they as bad as it seems?

They are middle of the road.
The boiler I recently replaced was an Ideal
