went to a fault on a combi shower this afternoon shower is running when tap or toilet is flushed, advised replacement shower but customer is skint and would like it repaired if possible, any ideas if this is repairable or is just past its sell buy date

What make/model of shower is it,could be pressure surge when water turned off may be causing a worn valve to open

that would be my guess, pressure wave forcing through an worn out washer

could be repairable but we need to be stripped on the on/off side to see

was a no make warrior shower, advised customer to have a replacement felt a bit sorry for her she has had her whole bathroom done out at quite a exspense and its a a terrible job, looks ok at a glance but to the telling eye is terrible plastic pipe on show to towel radiators and pipe work not clipped, tiled floor has cracked as been laid incorrectly,

anyways she decided to call me back and have a nice shiny grohe shower fitted, at least she has a quality unit in place now :)
