I have replaced the head motor on a two way valve. Is it normal for the motor to feel hot to the touch?
I assume power is constant to keep the valve open, in which case I would expect heat to build up.
Boiler is working fine.
Thanks

Yes as it needs to keep it open should be cool when the boilers off

Depends on what you mean by hot to be honest. Can you keep your hand on it or would it burn a small child?
