had my first contact with gas safes tech help line today what a breath of fresh air polite answered my question without refering me to any paperwork so different to the atitude we got from corgi

Hi all
I also had my first contact with gas safe this week, as I was extremly annoyed to find my personal details and photograph plastered over their website.
after a couple of phone calls they were removed, excellent.
Another thing that annoys me is that you have to call them on an 0800 number which of course is not free when calling from a mobile.
regards
Mike

If you drop the 0 and dial 800 then its still free when using a mobile;)

Hi all

Glad to hear you have had a positive experience when calling the Register.

We were aware of the issue around calling 0800 numbers from mobiles so we also make another number available for the technical helpline - 01256 650 005.

It is publicised on the website and in Registered gas Engineer magazine but happy to mention it again here.

Its the same old boys that answerd the questions for corgi is it not? Gas safe must be providing them with more tea and nicer biscuits.
