Hi there,

I currently have a large Megaflow electric boiler in my flat that hast just recently broken down.. I would like to take advantage of the situation and replace it with a tankless boiler to allow for more closet space. I have no gas in my flat. I have researched tankless boilers and the electric ones all seem to be for commercial use-- sinks in office bathrooms and things like that.

I understand electricity heats more slowly than gas, and so I'm wondering if such a thing as an electric tankless boiler exists that would be suitable for home use? I live alone, however I do like a nice hot shower and would hate to get stuck with only luke-warm water. The water pressure in my flat is very strong, if that makes any difference to the situation.

Any thoughts on a suitable tankless boiler?

Thanks,
Rich

In a word there is not one that is any smaller than what you have at the moment thus you would save any space, just a few thousand £'s down, would just get what you have repaired, should meet your requirements well

imho
