Hi,
I'm hoping to connect a tap to either the bath tub tap (M28 I think?!) or alternatively the shower hose of the shower in the same bath tub. I need this tap for a small diy sink to sit on top of the bath tub for our toddler (as on this website: Kleiner Nachtrag zur Waschstation - https://wunschkind-herzkind-nervkind.blogspot.com/2014/02/kleiner-nachtrag-zur-waschstation.html).
What (if any) kind of tap can I connect to a shower hose or the existing tap?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!

1. Picture of what you have would help.
2. Assuming the shower has a flexible hose attached at one end to the taps and the other to a shower head:
2a. The fittings at each end of the hose will almost certainly be 1/2" BSP female.
2b. The fitting at the tap end will be 1/2" BSP male.
2c. You could probably fit a threaded "tee" to the tap fitting, provided you have room to rotate it into place. Would need PTFE or Loctite 55 to seal. Look at BES 6544.
2d. You would need a male threaded 1/2" nipple to continue the original shower. E.g. BES 6576.
2d. A 1/2" male x 15 mm compression "iron" (they are made of brass) to go onto some 15 mm pipe for the tap.
2e. Any basin tap would then do. Personally if its temporary I'd use a full bore 15 mm lever valve. E.g. Screwfix 67744.
2f. Sundry pipe fittings for the run from the tee to the tap.
