I have a boiler where you have to set the mechanical timer like this one

Is their a way I can convert it to a thermostat which is digital or even one of those hive style ones I can control from my throne.

I find the mechanical timer to be temperamental and I don’t like it

No, I meant throne :p

These are pictures of it.

How would it be done and what I you think the cost would be if any of you have experience if this?

1. The boiler can easily be converted to use external controls.
2. Figure 45 on page of the installation manual contains the necessary wiring diagram.
3. The basics of it are that the internal clock is disconnected, and the external controls wired in its place.
4. How it would be done and cost will entirely depend on what controls you want.
5. If it were a traditional programmer and room thermostat, and assuming no issues with places to install / wiring access I'd expect it to take between 1 1/2 and 3 hours, plus the costs of the programmer (£80?) and thermostat (£60).
