Hi there, if anyone can help me I would be extremely grateful. My boiler is doing a strange thing, it is sounding like it is firing up, and then it goes off again, on again, consistently. Have no idea what to do, if anyone can advise me that would be wonderful. Thanks

Hi, would you care to give details of your heater/boiler, e.g, make, model, age, etc.

If it's an oil boiler on a conventional flue, has the flue been swept recently? Has it been serviced recently?

If it is an oil boiler the outside oil pipe may be partly frozen and not letting enough thru . pour hot water onto it if it has not thawed out by now .

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hi, I seemed to have a blockage in kitchen sink. A plumber came and cleared all the pipework that is visible inside my home (there was debris and pebbles!) We saw that the pipe that takes water down the gutter was visibly full to the top. He said he will return with a coil to push through...
