Bathroom cold tap takes a few seconds to come out

Hi, I was wondering I could have some advice please?

My upstairs bathroom tap (cold) takes a few seconds (5 or 6 seconds) to come on when I open it up. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be the cause please? Many thanks

Grease the insert.

replace whole cartridge, it doesnt cost much. check toolstation for example.

i agree easiest to change the tap inserts
