We need to replace the cartridges in our bath mixer tap and we are struggling to identity the manufacturer. There's a flattened C logo on the tap handle (picture attached). Can anyone help ? 2016-09-23 09.00.50.jpg

Don't worry about the manufacturer just match the cartridges to somewhere like this who specialise;

That page of inserts just clarifies how hard it is these days to get the correct insert!
It's a real problem with Chinese unbranded stuff. Most quality manufacturers print a name on.

The only way for the poster is to take the insert out, measure the size of the spindle, count the splines and measure the height from the top of the tap.

Our kitchen mixer tap has started dripping. Like so much of the plumbing in our almost new build bungalow, it is lacking! The plumber didn't install any isolating cocks in the H&C feed to the tap so how can I identify which of the valves is passing? Shut the whole H&C water system down?

I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...
