Ca anyone advise on Whether a combi can be installed under a staircase in a semi. Access to boiler would be from outside "Coal House" so to speak. Can vaguely remember something about fireproofing, 3floors and fire safety?

Advice very much appreciated

Ok. Many views but no replies showing on my system. could someone reply they've read it so I can confirm I aint doing something wrong.

Thanks.

Well looking here now I've confirmed it myself.
Anybody out there can help?

Regs can be downloaded for free but best left to your installer to advise

thanks walterwhite. where might I find these regs and under what name please

Let your gsr worry about it. You tell him where you'd like him to put the boiler and why.

The regs, although a statutory document, don't actually go into the nuts and bolts, why's and wherefores of an installation. There's other documents and technical bulletins for that.

Which the public don't have access to.
