can anyone tell me where it mentions not to use aerated blocks in catchment areas .I know about not using them but i could not find it in the corgi book today when a customer asked me to proove it to the builder.

thanks ant

Have a butchers at 'Part J' & 'TB 009' mentions using dense brick/concrete, not Celcon (aerated) block to build up the catchment area.
Other than that the catchment area would be porous and could potentially allow the passing of POC's through it, so would be AR.

by definition a catchement space must be complete and contain the POC's, and only have one entrance and one exit, so if the blocks are porous oor aereated the POC's can travel through to an area they are not allowed to go to

thanks printed off and given to customer . i dont know why they never belive us engineers
