Hey Everyone!

I have a Lan Sanitary B228 flushing system that doesn't completely refill and instead slowly (but continuously) drains water down the bowl like I'm holding down the flush button. It will work normally and fill either seemingly randomly, or if I press the dual-flush button over and over again until I feel some resistance. This is annoying for two reasons; 1) sometimes it means I cannot flush the toilet (it is like attempting to flush again immediately after flushing) and 2) it seems like it should be an easy fix but I can't get my head around it.

I understand that debris between the flapper valve and bottom of the tank could potentially be a reason for not filling up with water, but I don't understand why sometimes it works and others it doesn't.

I am prepared (and have the tools) to start taking stuff apart but I wanted to get some advice before messing with anything I shouldn't be doing. Apologies for the not-so-helpful photos but this is all I could get. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

coild be the flush seal but is usuallg the cable is failing or the cable has been put under strain. usually you can twist out the flushing mechanism and replace with a fluidmaster one as a straight swap.

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
