Hi everyone,
my first time posting here and really need some help. :stooge_curly:

My radiators need bleeding as half hot/cold and I have had trouble getting a key to bleed them. They are pre 2003 type.

However I have just discovered they are Quinn radiators whom are now called QRL. I have contacted them to ask if they could supply one, but I have not received a reply yet.

Does anyone know where I can purchase one from I have trawled through plumbers merchants and the internet today and I am having no luck

All help would be really appreciated.

A bleed key should fit it, not sure what the rad manufacturer has to do with it unless it's one of those with the bleed nipple built in the back of the panel, if that's the case, is the issue that a normal bleed key doesn't have enough room between the panel and the wall?
If so there are some small plastic bleed keys that will fit although they're a bit flimsy, otherwise cut down a brass one, in the past and when I've had enough play on the pipes I have lifted and tilted the rad forward to get a normal bleed key on there.

Hi, the older Quinn type have a smaller bleed screw and they are built into the inside face of the radiator and not at the end. Please see my attachment.

Ah thanks for that, the keys I have tried are 6mm across the flats.

Do you know if the ebay one is 6mm?

I have been told the ones on the radiator are 4.5 mm I have just e.mailed the ebay chap to ask what size his key is.

Thanks for your replies
