How can I take proactive measures to avoid any complicated plumbing problems that can occur in future and can cost me a lot? What are the most complicated problems anyone can face? Hit me with some answers.

Do it right first time, think about pipe configurations, ease of access to say pumps, 3 port sand 2port. Fit drain offs were necessary. Service valves for maintenance etc etc.

Drain offs are rubbish long term, washer gets stuck inside. If possible I'd put service valves instead off a tee if can be discreetly placed. Even better, fire them through the wall into a nice hatch outside.

Yep, fair point, do you fit service valves to all the C/h systems you install instead of drain offs Bunker ?

There's a lot you can do but it all comes down to how much the customer is willing to spend. Instead of drain offs on my system I've got a full bore valve under a trap hatch plumbers straight to the drain at the front. My system empties in no time but would a customer be willing to pay for the hours labour and extra material costs.

On a heating system run all rads individually from manifolds with iso valves, do the same with all hot and cold services. It's all adding to the original install cost but saving on maintenance costs in the future. Obviously use the best materials for the job.
