Discuss Honeywell Evohome HR92 valve control stopped working in the USA area at PlumbersForums.net

I have a Honeywell Evohome system that is in general working well but one of the HR92 radiator valves has suddenly stopped working just before Christmas

The valve appears to be communicating with the controller but the valve was stuck open. It appears to be communicating with the controller but the button on the valve appears to be non functional. Pressing it has no effect (no backlight or access to the local menus). Turning the top control does illuminate the backlight and change the setpoint. No faults are reported on the controller.

I have temporarily moved a valve from a room that is rarely used to the bathroom where the possibly faulty valve was installed but I do need to sort out the faulty one.

My guess is that the valve has developed a fault. I have checked and even replaced the batteries. Is there any further diagnostics I can run or do I just need to replace the valve. The heating system was upgraded to Evohome November 2017. I do know how to configure and pair a new valve if one is needed.

Can anyone advise me if there is anything more that can be done of where to get a new valve at a sensible price.

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
