Ye(bullets) i use them all the time and dont have problems with them

yeh, I fitted new danfoss trv's in my house and used those, seem to be fine

Are they reducing sets? Ok on water but not allowed on gas.

Used them a few times. Haven't had a problem with them yet. Probably jinxed myself now though.

What's everyone else preferences?

Reduced solder fittings before valve?

As far as I am aware they are not and never have been approved for gas, unless someone knows different. Can't remember why, but If I am correct someone will no doubt tell us.

I've used them today because its 10mm pipe. Customer is a landlord. Pipework is coming out of stud wall and he didn't want to pay me the extra to change pipework from inside the wall. He just wanted me to alter existing. Even though the old pipework centres are too far apart. So I've had to add on to existing and if I put reducers on it would look even worse.

It's horrible as it is but it's what he wants. I might put it in the hall of shame lol

I've got a few of those knocking round, wondered what they were lol. But yes, I've used them a couple of times and they're sound as a pound.

They are o.k but I prefer the three part one's...regards turnpin:smilewinkgrin:

not fussed on them prefer the 3 part types, you have never worked with mini bore stan, seriously???????????? its everywhere looks neat when done correctly and works well with sealed systems

I use them with no problems....so far !!!!!

Quite expensive to buy from what i remember , but you get the 8-15 and 10-15 with the danfoss rasd2 trv's , keep the 10-15 for future use on pipes and keep the 8-15 as spacers , (come in really usefull sometimes!!!!)

I find the ones that come with the danfoss valves slightly too deep to fit some fittings so the taper doesnt make a seal.

they are called fingers, the one on the left is called a thumb and the one in the middle is called a palm
