Hi,

Just looking for some advice on fitting a countertop dishwasher. I live in a rented house so I can't modify the kitchen in any way to allow access to the plumbing under the sink. So I wondered if I could attach the water inlet hose to my kitchen tap with an adapter of some kind, then let the waste drain away into the sink.

Here's a picture of my tap with the aerator removed if it helps:

Thanks in advance for any help!

No you can't and if the water board or landlord catches you doing it, there would be problems

If the water backs up in the dish washer you will contaminate the main and half the street and you could also flood the place, don't even attempt it get it done properly. kop

The o ring on the spout will leak with the pressure. Ask the landlord if you can have permission to have one fitted correctly.

There's your answer sorry to say
