Hi people, would like some advice about installing a new towel radiator (http://www.*************/p/kudox-alcala-designer-towel-radiator-900-x-450mm-1013-btu-297w/28296) in our bathroom.
I have a Worcester 30i combi boiler fitted.

Can someone confirm for me if it would be ok to fit 15mm tee pieces into my existing radiator pipes in an adjacent bedroom, in order to branch off to the new radiator?

Also, the radiator valves I purchased (http://www.*************/p/verona-angled-radiator-valves-15mm-pair/37800) for use with the radiator BOTH turn! Could someone explain why this is, when the rest of my radiators only have the one valve?

Keen to learn, so any help much appreciated.

PS: When I clicked to preview my post, the website didn't show in the links. However, the parts i've purchased both came from screwfix.

Yes you can just tee in

The reason why you cannot turn both on other rads is because the system has been balanced and by. It allowing you to adjust the valves prevents you undoing someone's work

You will need to balance the system again after fitting the new radiator. Which will mean getting acces to the valve that has been covered with a lock shield cover

Thanks for reply.

When you talk about the valve with a lock shield cover, is that the radiator that has the thermostat in it? Also, what is involved in 'balancing' the system? I had hoped that I just had to drain the whole system, fit the new radiator, refill system and bleed!

Starting to sound complicated.
