i doubt if that much water is condensation have you checked the seals along the edge of the bath

Actually after the post I run a bath and there is really a lot of water on the floor now...so I really don't think is condensation after all.

as above i cant see that is condensation best way to tell leave the bath panel off and see if it stops if not then condensation isnt your problem

As above I'd put my money on the silicone sealant leaking or the grout

Why not holding the shower head to the sealant to check whether it's leaking there or condensation. Maybe the bath drops slightly while taking a shower therefore the sealant doesn't seal as mentioned abpve

youve obvioiusly got a leak on either seals or the waste if it was a service it would leak constant

After careful inspection this morning I found that it leaks really badly from the overflow plus some around the sealant as suggested. I looked at fixing the overflow with our removing the entire waste pipe and all the videos suggest changing the rubber bit from the tub, however, mine doesn't have one, it just screw and tightened to the pipe. Any idea how can I make that sealed?

you need to purchase a suitable rubber washer, an independent merchant could help, a plumber probably has them on their van.

a big snot of silicone will do it, y'all need some for the seal anyhow!

The rubber seal is on the back of the bath not inside if that makes sense as above i'd just bang some good silicone on the one that's there and tighten it up hand tight

Another place that may leak is where the taps are if not sealed properly and water can seep under and through the holes in the bath.

I did find water seeping from the waste outlet as well and generally a bit all over and I have now sealed everything, including removing all the silicon edges and resealed. Took me all day, and now the bath is half full and I'll wait 24 hours...:smile5:

Sometimes if you have a bath shower mixer, you don't notice it dripping and then leaking through the tap undrrside. Hope you have sorted it

Thanks for the update, sounds like you've done a proper job, please keep us updated once silicone has had 24hrz tomset

HI, here is the update. Looks like the leaks have been sealed, or at least I cannot see anything (I have layered the floor under the tub with paper all over and had baths, and there was no water anywhere)
There floor is still very dump though ( the leaks must have been there for ages, as everything under there was soaked, timber, floor and wall) , and I have had a dehumidifier (domestic) on for 4 days now, doesn't seem to make a big difference. Anything else I can do to dry up? I have been told to add sawdust, would that help?
Also, I now want to fit a bath panel with access, or removable, the one that was there before was totally sealed and that's why this happened.

Let it dry out naturally would be the best bet, it's going to take a bit of time

You could hire a larger dehumidifier to speed things up a bit.
