Can anyone give advice to fix my shower tap?

Hi - I would be really grateful if anyone can advise on how to fix an issue with my shower tap. I have one where you can switch between tap and shower head by pushing the lever from left to right. Today when I put it on shower mode, a lot of water started gushing out at the point where the shower is connected. I disconnected the shower hose, and the item came out as in the picture attached. I have no idea how to replace this to get the shower to work again! Can anyone help?

Hi and welcome to the forum, Its possible you have lost some part/ parts down the drain. If not it may be easy,but if you try to put the pieces together and see how they fit. I would say its hel together with a screw or some sort of cover
