I need to replace a kitchen tap cartridge.

The code stamped on existing cartridge is BS5412 CD XZ 24.
I've tried this code with Screwfix, B&Q and Tap Magician - they've all provided a cartridge that fits the tap, but is actually not compatible with the handle/shroud itself!!

The splines I am receiving are 8mm in diameter, which is too small.
Existing cartridge looks like 10mm dia spline - I'm unable to find anything to match this, even online.

Help!

I have attached an image of the brass body within a tap. Having replaced a cartridge which has cured a leaking tap, I can see that there is a small leak from the brass body which can be unscrewed. Is there a seal behind the body? Thanks.

I am in process of replacing an existing sink with a new stainless steel one. The existing tap is plumbed directly to copper which means that it is earthed. The new tap will use flexible tails and so will not be earth bonded. My initial search for information suggests that there is no legal...

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...
