Hi there,

I'm a home owner and trying to change my shower cartridge mixer.
I've attempted to unscrew it out but it seems to not be budging, it's infact ruining the plastic thread.

I've got a photo too:

Any help would be appreciated (photo is wrong way around)

Or a better adjustable spanner

Thanks for both your advise.

I've tried a socket and unfortunately it's taken the square edges off of the plastic.

Any idea what to do next? thanks

You could try a pair of grips but that is a last resort
