Hi all,

You know those taps with the shower head and hose attached that has the knob you pull up to get water to go to the shower head? Well can those be serviced? My uncle says the problem with his is that when you pull the knob up (water flowing) only about 60% goes up to the shower head and the rest comes out around the base of the knob. I presume there's a couple of washers inside or something?

Or do I just get a new unit to replace?

yes they can be serviced, most likely just a washer has split
