Hi, First time balancing a heating system using the pipe clamp thermometers. Im thinking you close all trvs then start nearest the boiler and you're looking for a 20 degree difference between flow and return. All sound good, or way off the mark?

12 deg differential, and close all your lockshields down except the first one, leave that 1/2 a turn open.
