Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a new combi boiler installed and was wondering if the baxi duo tec 28 HE combi boiler with 7 year parts and labour warranty is a reliable boiler.

I've read a few reviews and they all seem to be negative and yet Which has rated it as a good boiler so I'm a bit confused. Negative reviews all point to some error 133 requiring pcb and valves to be changed.

Is the 7 year parts and labour warranty on all parts or just the heat exchanger?

Any gas engineers have on this forum have any opinions on this boiler model?

The Duotec seems fine, the ideal Vogue is also a cracking boiler but is slightly dearer.

Done heaps of them - not to many issues.

You have to keep in mind that reviews are usually posted by people who have problems with their boiler. Most people who don't have any problems will not post a review.

Pity we only get a 12 or 24 month warranty.
No way would a supplier over here offer a 7 year warranty.

Very good boiler. A little loud compared to some so best in a cupboard. If installed well and it's serviced you have a 7 year warranty so what's to worry about. Check out the logic plus range as well with a 7 year warranty.

I'll pop this into the general advice forum as it seems the most active, but mods - feel free to move if there's somewhere more appropriate. Thank you! --- Apologies, but yet another "boiler losing pressure" thread - I've read many others, but am no closer... Not my boiler (parents), so...

Looking for some help here - not my boiler, so consider me a proxy. I'm also by no means a heating engineer: I'm just looking for pointers, as the owner of this boiler is now caught firmly between "not us", "not us" and "not us" - nobody will take responsibility, and just calls into question...

Hello All My Baxi Duo Tec Combi HE error display light is not 'lit up' - it appears to be blank. My boiler hasn't worked since the weekend so I checked the boiler panel expecting to see an error E119 low pressure message which I can normally fix myself. The error message display panel appears to...
