We have a Wamsler solid fuel central heating boiler (only source of heat for the central heating system) and were considering buying another wood burning stove with boiler. Is it possible to plumb the new boiler into the current system part way round it at all (between 2 radiators). The central heating system has an indirect cylinder and 7 radiators in it, the pump is controlled by a thermostat on the flow pipe from the current boiler.

Thanks

You can't just join in to any heating system with a solid fuel boiler with a couple of pipes. There are a few ways to do it.
One way is using a twin coil cylinder to enable you to have 2 vented gravity circuits for the 2 boilers. Then you have pumped pipes from each boiler using 2 pumps & check valves. That means 4 pipes from each boiler.
Another way is a neutraliser, which is very good for connecting 2 solid fuel boilers as you only need 2 of 28mm gravity pipes from each fire & a pumped ciruit leaving the neutraliser. Dunsley make some of these.
A thermal store is another option.
Think about the total output of both fires & if the system can take the extra output. Get a solid fuel professional in to make all decisions, it is not a job to do wrong!

Thermal store every time. You can always add extra things on later and the primaries come from the store.
