No i am domestic only that's why I am interested in points of view. Buy the way the cup stop water going over the electrics!

Looks like fan dilution. Basically open flued with a fan drawing in fresh air and poc. Should have an interlock to the burner.
 
Yes has interlock, covered up with plastic bag to stop water spraying onto it. Lots of jb weld on it already!

Our kitchen mixer tap has started dripping. Like so much of the plumbing in our almost new build bungalow, it is lacking! The plumber didn't install any isolating cocks in the H&C feed to the tap so how can I identify which of the valves is passing? Shut the whole H&C water system down?
