When you actually get to retire and don,t want to or cant use your tools any more, what sort of a customer will you be? make lots of tea and bacon sarnies, or a horrible critisising penny pincher?

The third option tell people there to dear and could of done it yourself back in the day and tell em how it should be done

I remember a while back someone mentioned on a thread they where doing a heating system for a old bloke who used to be a plumber that he got there in the morning and the bloke said he'd done as Mich as he could to help and he went upstairs to find all carpets lifted and joists notched

I'm going to be even more grumpy than I am now. I will be moaning about the kids down the road, moaning about a street light not working, moaning about the weather, moaning about the cost of **** which will be around 20 notes per pack by then! That's if my mrs hasn't killed me by then!

It was ment to be my new years resolution to stop moaning, at 1 minute past midnight I was ranting at the waste of money spent on fireworks!

Ill be in my coffin buried face down so every one can go kiss my arse

I'm going to go to University, get an engineering degree and tell tradesmen how to do their jobs.........

Not sure i'll be able to retire at the current prices around !

Same sort of customer I am now, I want a good deal, a good service, someone who turns up on time, someone who answers my questions, don't mind paying.

However, turn up late and I don't get a phone call then don't turn up at all. I am a good customer up to the point I think your taking the 'michael' then the its a whole different kettle of fish and no prisoners taken.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
