If you dont mind cleaning the sink and surrounding area afterwoods :p

And yes that is very true, only had that dilema a couple of times so far, but that really is when you pray the plastic catches holding all that water in the base to the handle on top dont give in!

Yeah, now that is fun! Load of brown water swimming around in the hoover. Not a nice job to attempt on your own. Pottential to go very badly wrong. Doesn't bear thinking about really.

Hold it from the bottom. Relying on the plastic catches (not that mine has any) is just asking for trouble!!

Just hope for the best and get it over with as quick as possible.

Holding it from the bottom is my preffered method, but when your trying to get in through a small loft hatch at the same time that you are climbing through it gets rather tight

I leave it in the loft, climb out and then take the wet n dry out holding it round the bottom. No danger of me having to do this through a small loft hatch as I don't fit.

I use the einhall one for wet work & then Henry HVR200 with hepa bags for dry work.
Works a treat although can easily clutter up a small room if both are needed during a job.

Had them go once when carrying water downstairs in a wetvac. That was the last time I've ever carried a wetvac by the handle on top of it!

Best wet vac I've ever bought was a parkside Hoover which has the ability to push and suck which is very handy :) not expensive but a dope hoover
