Hi
Vaillant have confirmed the Vsmart unit will work with the older 831 Combi.. but the wiring instructions for the ebus do not match the terninals in the boiler. Has anyone fitted a vsmart unit to an 831 combi. What terminals should it be wired to? 3 and 4 without bridge??
Thanks
Bob

Not for you to concern yourself with. The case of that boiler forms a vital seal. Removing it is classified as gas work .

Please call in a competent gsr.

Hi all, I have an ecotec plus 832 and less than 2 weeks ago I installed a Vsmart thermostat by myself. The graph under information in the app doesn't look quite right to me and it looks like the boiler turn on/off instead of doing modulation. Am I missing something? Thank you.

We have an all Vaillant setup - an EcoTEC Plus 637 system boiler plus wired VR720 and VR92 SensoCOMFORT controller, driving two CH zones plus DHW. It all works, but unfortunately we have found that the room stats are poorly located, and so the level of control is not what it should be. We had...

I recently had a new 2023 Vaillant ecoTec plus 630 (30kW) system boiler installed along with a Low Loss Header (LLH) in my house. I have 21 rads in the house and a room with UFH. The LLH was introduced as I was finding (before the LLH was fitted) that my old boiler (Vaillant heat-only boiler)...
