Hi. I need to reinstate a soil pipe. The original connected to clay pipe which is incased in concrete. The pipe has broken (it was backfilled with concrete in the original rest bend) but I don’t want to have to go as far as the manhole (not sure if I even can?!). Please see attached photo at this point. If I can cut it off clean but not remove the concrete on the outside, can I fit a push fit drain connector?
Thank you

As above, similar to this link.
Check exact pipe sizes as various connector sizes are available, some with 2 different end sizes

The pipe end needs to be cut off square to the pipe

Thanks. However, it won’t be easy to get the concrete off the fragile clay pipe to allow a flexi connector. Hence why I wondered if a pipe connector pushed inside would be acceptable/allowed?

Not seen them before,
On the Flexseal U.K site, their wonderful pipe size selector wants name phone email etc to reveal the sizes.
Got through without giving much away

Seem to be available at several places.

Theyre
1. Widely available
2. A bit of a game changer, a genuinely innovative development.

They do a reducer to 4 inch

To get the pipe cut if its in poor shape i would say the trick is to open up the trench way more than you think you need. Go slow with a 4 inch grinder and masonry disc.
Good luck.

Follow up questions;

What type of pipe is this? See photo. It appears to be 98mm ID.

I believe this is the correct Flexseal;

IC95-100P - Flex Seal Flexible Internal Pushfit Coupler for Connecting DN100 Pipes Using the Internal Wall. Ideal for Use When the Pipe Exterior is Inaccessible, Typically Used for Adapting Old Clay 93-98mm to Plastic, Cast Iron and New Clay 99-103mm Pipe Internal Bore

Pricey though! (Inc £46.79), but still far cheaper than a new chamber!
