looking to buy a tool vest. eanyone own one? whats comfort like? moveing around in them. thanks

Try Bird Spotters Monthly, or the Train Spotters Journal, lots of reviews on such vests.....;-)

ask on sparkys forum as they seem to like carrying 20 tools around at once.

yea i like the look:) plus handy if you are going to next job just to keep tools in. i take it yous think they are gay? lol

When I see someone in matching coloured tool vest and trousers they are either proper old school or gay.
sometimes both :)

If you turned up at my door wearing one of those I'd be looking around for Jeremy Beadle

I wouldn't be so bold as to assume anything, will you be wearing a tool holster as well ?

I thought about a tool vest, but after much more thinking I came to the conclusion it would be impractical.

Awkward jobs tend to follow me around and I can imagine it getting in my way too much

all those tools hanging off you will either scratch the ladies worktop or knock over her best vase, just look at coppers nowadays, cant run anywhere as they have too much crap haging down.

Whats a scooby?

Another 5 mins of my life wasted .WTF is that all about?

Tool vest a big no. I'm not a small bloke to start with and with spending half my day laid on the floor or bent forward I wouldn't fancy spending the rest of the day picking stuff up that keeps falling out the vest.

I've got the snickers one great when having to walk round big hotels etc

I wouldn't be seen dead in one of those. I'd be laughed off site if I turned up rocking one of them.
