I'm fitting a new suite for my pal, and she wants a stand alone bath with chrome riser taps, any recommendations for make etc, or are they ok if I buy decent priced ones?
Cheers

My personal preference is Bristan. Good taps, decent warranty period and spares readily available.

my advice would be dont unless you have access from below theres somuch leverage on them they are easily loosened idealy they need a steel plate in the floor ive actually removed three sets due to leakage not ones id put in

Bolt through on 4x2 with hard ply on either face to stop bolts ripping through 4*2 . Taps are fine just fix them extremely well to floor.

You can get the legs to fit any BSM on Tapstore.com. keeps the price down as people seem to charge a lot more for them as a set.
