Hi Friends

I am going to move a radiator in my house, does it matter if the drain cock is on TRV or Lockshield end?

I see at Sscrewfix you can buy chrome one atached to the valve (it looks like a lockshield).

Thank you
Rocket

just get the lockshiled with the built in drain valve, but you can put a drain valve on any side doesnt matter

you can get lockshield valves with integrated drains like you have found, but i prefer to put drain in the pipework wherever possible.

they are not ideal for draining systems, but that's where a wet vac comes in handy :p

the built in drain ofs are next to useless for draining the system they are realy for drop systems where each rad needs a drain down point

thats why i much prefer putting drainoffs onto pipework wherever possible.
